Available Same Day Pregnancy Scan in London
At Peek A Baby, we have a range of early, private pregnancy scans from 6 weeks, through to 40 weeks. Each scan is designed to give you precious bonding moments with you baby and your loved ones, whilst also finding reassurance as your baby grows.
Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scan
Available from 6 weeks
Our early pregnancy scan is available from 6 weeks. It is designed to provide you with confirmation of pregnancy following your home pregnancy test results. This reassurance provides parents with peace of mind knowing that they have successfully conceived.
During this scan, the pregnancy will be confirmed. Our experienced sonographers will also confirm the gestational age of your baby and provide you with an estimate due date. At 6 weeks, you will also be able to hear your baby’s heartbeat for the first time.
Following your 5 minute 2D scan, you will be provided with thermal prints to share with your loved ones and a report to confirm the pregnancy.
Please note that you will be required to have a full bladder for this scan.

Early Gender Scan
Available from 15 weeks
An early gender scan from 15 weeks is a great way to find out whether you are expecting a boy or girl in the early stages of pregnancy, removing the anticipation of waiting until your NHS 20 week scan.
During this scan, our experienced sonographers will confirm the gender of your baby with 99.9% accuracy. You will also be able to have a 3D / 4D sneak peek of your baby, giving you a glimpse of your baby in real time, providing they are in the right position.
Following your 5 minute scan, you will be given digital images from your scan, including your 4D sneak peek, some thermal prints to share with your loved ones and a wellbeing report. You will also receive a gift pack from our team which is inclusive of a variety of promotional items.
Please note that we do not need to see your hospital records for this scan, and you do not require a full bladder.
Private Anomaly Scan
Available from 18 weeks
Our private anomaly scan is available between 18 and 21 weeks of pregnancy for those seeking reassurance on the growth and development of your baby. This scan is a diagnostic scan that is had via the NHS at 20 weeks of pregnancy. It looks at your baby’s growth and development, checking for any abnormalities or anomalies. It will check your baby’s heart, brain, bones, spinal cord, face, kidneys and abdomen.
This is a 30 minute appointment, including your anomaly scan that can give expectant parents reassurance about their baby if there is any reason for concern. In the event of any concerns, you will be advised to speak with your GP or midwife immediately.
Following your scan appointment, you will be able to take away some thermal prints of your baby during the scan as a treasured keepsake. You will also receive a written report of your scan.
Please note that we recommend you bring your hospital records along with you for this scan.
Growth & Presentation Scan
Available from 22 weeks
If you have any concerns about your baby’s growth and development in the second stages of pregnancy, this private growth scan can be a means of seeking peace of mind from 22 weeks onwards.
During this 5-10 minute scan, our fully trained sonographers will give an update on the estimated fetal weight, confirmation of fetal presentation and placental site and growth measurements. A report will be provided for you to take away following your appointment as well as digital image, thermal prints and a gift pack including various promotional items. If your baby is not in the right position, you will be offered a free rescan at a later date.
This scan can also confirm the gender of your baby if you do not yet know. If you are not wanting to know your baby’s gender, please let your sonographer know before your scan. You will not get a 3D / 4D sneak peek with this scan.

3D / 4D Pregnancy Scan Packages
Available between 20 and 34 weeks
