All persons employed are of good character, competent and relevantly registered with their professional board.

Employees undergo a rigorous interview process in which we are able to see their competence, character and ability. Sonographers are assessed in house in addition to providing documentation of required relevant degrees and certificates. Registration with the Society of Radiographers (SoR) and HCPC is paramount.

Here at Peek A Baby, we have a dedicated and competent team of Radiologists, Midwives, Nurses, Sonographers and chaperones working together to ensure that you are provided with the best possible service.

Qualified Sonographers

At Peek A Baby, for consideration as one of our clinics, prospective Sonographers must have a Postgraduate Certificate or Post Graduate Diploma in Medical or Clinical Ultrasound.

Even though statutory registration is NOT a legal requirement, Peek A Baby employs only those sonographers who are registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Nurses or Midwives should be registered with their associated regulatory body, often the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
