This early scan confirms your pregnancy, your baby's heartbeat, and the gestational age. 

If you are eager to find out the gender of your baby before the NHS 20 weeks, Peek A Baby offers Gender Scans from as early as 15 weeks! Our qualified sonographers will determine your baby's gender via ultrasound before confirmation.

As your pregnancy progresses, we offer an Anomaly Scan from 18 weeks. This scan provides a comprehensive assessment of your baby's growth and development. Our trained sonographers will carefully examine your baby's major organs and limbs during this scan. Peek A Baby also offers a 2D Growth & Presentation Scan from 22 weeks. This scan confirms your baby's fetal weight and measurements. For this scan, we advise that you bring hospital records. 

4D Pregnancy Scans

Ultrasound Care offers private ultrasound scans that can detect, monitor and assess various medical conditions. 

For women, Ultrasound Care provides essential scans including abdominal scans, kidney, ureter & bladder scans, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) scans, aortic surveillance scans and gynaecology. This comprehensive range of private ultrasound scans can help diagnose or monitor medical conditions affecting the abdominal area, urinary system and blood circulation. Gynaecology scans can also help give insight into your reproductive system and organs, whether you are looking to start a family or have been experiencing post-menopausal issues. 

Private ultrasound scans available for men at Ultrasound Care includes abdominal scans, prostate, kidney & bladder scans, scrotal/testicular scans, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) scans, and aortic surveillance scans. Much like the women's scans, these offer the opportunity for diagnosis and monitoring of medical conditions that may be affecting the male reproductive system or other areas of the body.

Gynaecology Scans

Peek A Baby clinics offer a range of Gynaecology Scans with their sister clinic Ultrasound Care. These scans include a Fertility Scan and a Pelvic Well-Being Scan. 

Fertility Scans help women understand any gynaecological issues that hinder their chances of natural conception or interfere with fertility treatment plans. Gaining insights into the reproductive organs can help get a clear picture of fertility health. 

Pelvic Well-Being Scans are important for women to ensure that their pelvic health is ok and all organs are functioning as they should. During this scan, an Ovarian Cancer Screening is also conducted. 

6 Week Gender Test

Peek A Baby clinics now offer the exciting opportunity to find out the gender of your baby from as early as 6 weeks via blood test! Our Early Gender Blood Test is part of our non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT); it tests a small sample of the mother's blood for the presence of Y chromosomes in the fetal DNA to accurately determine gender. 

With a remarkable accuracy of 99.9%, this advanced test provides peace of mind for expectant parents and gives them ample time to start planning for their baby's arrival.

Please note that this Early Gender Blood Test is for gender prediction only, it is not a diagnostic test. If you are looking for genetic tests, take a look at the alternative NIPT options available with Peek A Baby or consult your GP.

NIPT Tests

Peek A Baby clinics now offer Non Invasive Prenatal Testing (NIPT) to provide expectant parents, or couples in the family planning stage, with invaluable information about their genetics or their baby's health and future. These tests are available pre-pregnancy, or from 10 weeks of pregnancy. Early Gender Blood Tests are available from 6 weeks of pregnancy. 

At Peek A Baby, we offer three NIPT Tests: Early Gender Blood Tests, VERAgene and Veracity. Each test is specific in what it screens for and how this information. If you are unsure of which NIPT Test is right for you, speak to our team before booking. 

These advanced tests screen for a number of conditions including Downs Syndrome, Edwards Syndrome, Patau Syndrome and other chromosomal disorders. With early detection of these medical conditions, informed decisions can be made before pregnancy or during the early stages of pregnancy in order to confidently prepare for a baby's arrival. 

Please note that NIPT Tests are not diagnostic tests, they are screening tests. Positive results, although highly accurate, will need further discussion and confirmation with your GP.
