Early Pregnancy Scan Mitcham
An early pregnancy scan provides reassurance in this early stage of your pregnancy. There are many reasons as to why people choose to have an early pregnancy scan at Peek a Baby. These include having complications previously or for their own piece of mind. This ultrasound scan is available when you are between 6 and 15 weeks of your pregnancy and are not offered on the NHS. However, you can have a private early pregnancy scan at Peek a Baby without it affecting your NHS entitlement.
This scan takes place for 5 minutes and is a 2D scan which confirms the results of your pregnancy test as well as the gestational age of your baby, an estimated due date and confirms a heartbeat.
Gender Scan Mitcham
If you cannot wait to find out whether you are having a boy or a girl, visit Peek a Baby London, we offer early gender scans from as early as 15 weeks. Our ultrasound sexing scan is a 5 – 10-minute scan which determines the sex of your baby. From this scan, you will receive three 2D black and white thermal prints and a CD rom with 5- 6 images. At this scan, we also offer a 4D sneak peek of the baby provided the baby is in a suitable position. This scan is £45.
Mitcham 4D Scans
We offer four different packages for our 4D pregnancy scans. These packages include Cuddly Cub 4D Package, Cheeky Monkey 4D Package, Circle of Life 4D Package and Growing Giraffe 4D Package. All of our 4D pregnancy scans are available between 20 – 34 weeks and prices from £79 - £179.
Growth and Presentation Scan
If you are concerned about the ‘normal’ growth and well-being of your baby, then Peek a Baby offer a 2D growth and presentation scan in the second half of your pregnancy between the 22- 38 week period. This is a 5 – 10 minute scan which includes a report stating all of the following: fetal weight, confirmation of fetal presentation and placental site.
Anomaly Scan Mitcham
A diagnostic scan is available to check for any major physical abnormalities or anomalies in your baby. This best is best performed around 18-21 weeks of the pregnancy and involves a 30 minute appointment looking in detail at the baby’s bones, heart, spinal cord, face, kidneys and abdomen. It also investigates the position of the placenta, development of the foetus, anatomical structures, measurements at the expected gestational ages, cardiac abnormalities, presence of cleft lip and present of open spine bifida.
