Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scan
This scan is available from 6-15 weeks of pregnancy.

For your peace of mind, Peek a Baby now offer an ultrasound scan from 6 to 15 weeks of pregnancy. Our early pregnancy reassurance scan is a 5 minute 2D scan to confirm the results of a pregnancy.
The primary purpose of this scan is to:
-Confirm a heartbeat
- Gestational age of your baby
- An estimated due date of the baby
- Ascertain the viability of an early pregnancy
At the end of the scan you will receive three 2D black and white thermal images as a keepsake and a written report of the scan.
Please note that the gender of the baby will not be determined at this stage and that test ultrasound scan is to confirm the results of your pregnancy. Also the 4D-sneak-peek is not available in early pregnancy reassurance scan.
Important Notes
We strongly suggest that you should see your GP or healthcare professional after the confirmation of the pregnancy. All our ultrasound scans are performed by fully qualified sonographers or radiologists.
Please note we will not be deliberately looking for any anomalies or checking for downs syndrome or other abnormalities. However, if any unusual signs are spotted, you will be given a written report and instructed to see your GP or other healthcare specialist immediately.
Preparation
Please wear loose clothing as you will be required to expose you abdomen.
Drink at least a pint of water approximately 30-45 minutes before the scan and please do not empty your bladder.
