Ultrasound Scans From 6 Weeks
At Peek A Baby, there are a wide range of ultrasound scans that are offered throughout the entire pregnancy journey.
We understand that the first trimester can sometimes be the most stressful, this is why we offer our Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scans from as early as 6 weeks.
This scan can give any expectant mother peace of mind when they are in need of it. Although only a 5 minute scan, this scan will be able to confirm your pregnancy, the gestational age of your baby, an estimated due date and your baby’s heartbeat.
Following this scan, you will receive three black and white thermal prints as a keepsake and memory to treasure.
It is important to note that this scan requires a full bladder. Please refrain from using the bathroom before your appointment and drink plenty of fluids 30-45 minutes beforehand.
We also do not require your hospital records.
Peek A Baby's Pregnancy Scans
Peek A Baby offer a number of ultrasound scans in pregnancy:
- Early Pregnancy Reassurance Scan: 6-15 weeks
- Gender Scan: 15-35 weeks
- Growth & Presentation Scan: 22-38 weeks
Each of these scans can give your peace of mind at every stage of your pregnancy and offers a window into your womb, giving you the opportunity to meet your growing baby.
Peek A Baby also offer an Anomaly Scan from 18-21 weeks. This is a complete diagnostic scan to check in detail your baby’s major organs and bones for any major abnormalities or anomalies. Should the sonographer have any concerns, this will be reported in full to your GP for further discussion with you. You will also receive three black and white thermal scan images to take away with you following this scan.
